The construction of Letňany lentils is in full swing. Representative Jan Mikulecký agreed with Skanska on a program for children from Malkovského kindergarten. On Tuesday, June 10, they looked directly at the building. Skanska prepared an open day for them, so preschoolers had fun all morning. In addition to competitions, where children won a lot of gifts, the greatest interest was in the excavator or truck Tatra. The boys and girls looked into the cabin and “dredged” a bit. “They are already looking forward to having a new playground and swings that the Lentils will bring them after the holidays,” says Jan Mikulecký, deputy and councilor of the Prague 18 district. Dog toilets. Good idea?
When you walk around Letňany, you will come across a large number of corners near houses, bollards, fences, baskets and signs fed by dogs. This makes our district no different from other parts of Prague. In the last few years we have opened 3 dog meadows, but of course no pet can wait to empty there. Dog urinals can be a solution. Do you think they will work? Where should we place them?
When will we destroy the Lentils?
The lentils are gradually being completed – a rocking lentil was opened at the beginning of August and more will be added in the near future. Lentils usually replaced hundreds of square meters of old asphalt playgrounds and concrete sandpits. Thus, new elements are gradually emerging in the housing estate that have not been here so far. Representatives overwhelmingly supported the Lentils
A meeting of the Prague 18 Letňany City Council took place on Thursday on 21 November 2014. It was the last before the election and the atmosphere matched that. The election campaign began prematurely, and citizens and representatives in the ceremonial hall at the town hall eventually spent several hours. One of the points was the amendment to the contract with Skanska for Letňanské lentilky. Not even an hour was discussed and the deputies mostly supported the amendment. Open parking in Místecká
The parking lot in front of Místecká 567-569 has been completely reconstructed and is ready for the onslaught of cars. The Krausova x Místecká x Nýdecká crossroads received a new surface. In addition, 9 completely new parking spaces were created between Nýdecká and Jablunkovská streets. After the opening of parking in Jančová Street and the addition of spaces in Ivančická, the residents of the housing estate have other new parking spaces. Why are there concrete benches on the lentils?
The first lentil with swings was opened and immediately the children eagerly threw themselves on it. Their parents also go to them with lentils, and especially mothers and grandmothers immediately started discussing why the benches only have a concrete surface finish and they seem cold. The housing estate will be ZONE 30
As part of the Letňanská lentilka project, traffic in the housing estate will also change significantly. New parking spaces have been added for drivers and road surfaces have changed. Some crossings have been modified to protect pedestrians. Traffic calming is achieved by retarders and other deceleration elements. The Lentilek housing estate is now ZONE 30. Vacancies in kindergartens
Despite the fact that this website is dedicated to the Letňany lentils project, we would like to inform our parents in this way about the state of fullness of kindergartens. Not only did it manage to place all Letňany children from the age of 3 in kindergartens, but there are still vacancies in the Beranov kindergarten. Lentil questions and answers
The lentils are almost over. We solve minor finishing touches, defects and shortcomings. The only major unfinished thing is a tartan on an orange lentil. We have been waiting for 2 months for the manufacturer to reset the line to a special orange color. The finishing process will take a few more weeks, but the biggest construction work is behind us.
