Lentils completely changed Kuželova Street. The cars have disappeared, the old asphalt has been demolished and today the Cone is full of greenery and purple violets. How this street will look like was decided by its inhabitants, as you can read here. “Part of the complete revitalization was also the transfer of garbage cans from Jančová Street to the sides of the houses. However, there are no garbage cans on these stalls,” says Jan Mikulecký, Letňany’s representative.
When designing, the authors did not realize once a small detail. As part of standard services, garbage cans empty garbage cans, which are max. 15 m from the access road. The customer has to pay extra for a longer distance.
The collection of one container per month costs approx. CZK 3,000 (price of Prague services). Surcharge for a distance of up to 30 m is 150 CZK, ie. 5% of the total price. If it seems to someone like an asshole, then unfortunately not some residents of Kuželova Street. When budgeting this surcharge for individual flats, it is CZK 6.30 per month and flat. “However, even this amount became the subject of great discussions, which unfortunately ended with the result, which can be seen in the attached photos,” says Jan Mikulecký, representative of Letňany.
“The inhabitants decide on their surroundings themselves, so let us leave them the right to save one croissant a month and keep the garbage cans on the sidewalk.
