Last year, the reconstruction of several prefabricated houses in the former AVIA housing estate was completed. The results can be seen in many houses and are due to many SVJ committees. Currently, 14 of the 75 entrances are insulated, which is not much. “However, the reconstruction will continue this year and we can expect another 10-15 entrances, which will be dressed in a new coat,” says Jan Mikulecký, representative of Letňany.
In the southern part of the housing estate, the situation is better. Almost 75% of the entrances are insulated and there is a larger share of elevators. “Reconstruction of houses started here a few years ago and therefore the share of reconstructed houses is larger,” says Jan Mikulecký, representative of Letňany. The first houses in the former AVIA housing estate were revitalized in 2010, and it is only good that more and more residents do not hesitate to sacrifice their free time to make our housing estate like new.
“Work is also continuing on the Letňany lentils project. Currently, the documentation for the zoning procedure is being prepared and it can be assumed that in 2013 the construction work will start in the first stages, “added Jan Mikulecký, representative of Letňany.
