Lentils compete for a grant

On 28 November 2012, the Prague 18 City Council approved the submission of an application for subsidies for the Letňanská lentilka project. Subsequently, the application was submitted under the call of the Operational Program Prague Competitiveness, Support Area 2.1. The results of the call will be known in the 2nd quarter of 2013.

Thanks to the representatives of SVJ

Dear representatives of SVJ, during the last three years, the Letňany housing estate has changed significantly. Many houses have been dressed in new facades, have new elevators and new windows save energy. None of this would have been possible without your efforts – home renovation is a laborious and complex job and in many ways invaluable. Thanks to you, however, Letňany is more attractive and modern every year.

Seminar on revitalization for SVJ representatives

In February 2012, a seminar on the revitalization of prefabricated houses took place. Experienced members of SVJ committees acquainted their colleagues with the already completed reconstructions of houses. Jan Mikulecký, Councilor for Regeneration of the Housing Estate, confirmed that the renovation of houses in the housing estate has great support from the town hall, especially in the context of the Letňanská lentilka project.

Seminar on revitalization for SVJ

On Tuesday 5/3/2013 another seminar on revitalization of prefabricated houses took place. Experienced members of SVJ committees acquainted their colleagues with the already completed reconstructions of houses. Special thanks go to Nikol Řehounková and Radek Vybíral, who are the chairmen of SVJ in Malkovského street. Jan Mikulecký, the councilor for the regeneration of the housing estate, confirmed that the town hall supports the renovation of houses in the entire Letňany housing estate. RSŽP commission: possibility to participate in the meeting

At each meeting of the Commission for the Regeneration of Settlements and the Environment, the current status of the Letná lentilka project is discussed. Even though the meeting of the commission is not public by law, we offer citizens the opportunity to participate and discuss together. Current status of the grant application

The Letňanské lentilek project is applying for subsidies within the Prague Competitiveness Operational Program. The application was submitted on 29/11/2012 and is still being evaluated. The Letňany housing estate changes according to the wishes of its inhabitants

The Letňany housing estate has long been neglected and neglected. It has been gradually abandoned since the 1990s. After years, the houses fell into disrepair, public areas with benches and playgrounds were destroyed and unusable for their purpose. The settlement was gradually becoming a sad and inhospitable place to live. The Letňany lentils project, which is now awaiting the evaluation of the subsidy application, should change part of the housing estate beyond recognition next year. There will be new sidewalks, a playground for children, rest areas and more greenery. The project also does not forget about drivers, so new parking spaces will be created and traffic on the streets will be adjusted.
